STD Models STD units have an aluminum exterior, the same as a standard travel trailer. This pkg. features square RV windows and doors. The roof is one piece aluminum, and the interior cabinet doors are router cut. This is our lowest priced unit

HS Models HS units are finished with white vinyl house siding , residential doors and windows as well as simulated cedar shakes on a mansard roof. Some models have bay windows in front. HS units feature high line rubber torsion axles. Providing the finest quality most expensive trailer suspension available. The roof covering is one piece rubber over 7/16 OSB board

LTD Models LTD units feature a premium white fiberglass exterior. The walls are seamless one piece panels. This provides the maximum resistance against water damage.

This exterior provides the most durable easiest to maintain exterior available.

Severe Weather Training This option provides the tools and programming allowing you to teach the proper response when students are confronted with Severe Weather conditions. This option includes a tornado simulation

Gloss Gelcoat Gloss Gelcoat fiberglass is an top of the line up-grade to a smooth high gloss finish the same as a boat. This is the same exterior found on $200,000 motor homes

Power Slide Out A power slide out is a push button system that allows the bedroom wall to expand out the road side.

 This allows more room for students and instructor in the bedroom when doing escape training.

Honda EM 5000 The Honda EM5000, A 5000watt generator will exceed all of your power requirements, but is not as quiet. 72 db is the same noise level as a vacuum sweeper. (THE GENERATOR IS NOT TO REMAIN IN THE COMPARTMENT WHILE RUNNING)

Onan 5500 CMM This is our most popular built in RV type generator. This unit is operated while in the unit and need not be removed. This is a 5500 watt commercial generator and carries a two year commercial warranty.

Onan7000 CMM This generator is the same as above but will produce 7000 watts of power. This generator is "Only" recommended for units with "two air conditioners"

LP Fuel Option. This is a fuel option for the Onan generators. The standard generators operate with gasoline. This option will allow LP Gas operation. The fuel consumption is higher with LP Gas. And getting LP fuel may prove to be more difficult.

30 lb tank w/Change over regulator This is an up grade for units with LP generators.

This system will automatically switch to a fresh reserve tank when the primary tank runs dry.

Generator compartment An enclosed generator compartment with lock and key is available as an option on 29 ft. and 30 ft. models. A generator compartment is standard on all other models. Your generator can be stored out of the weather and under lock and key with this option. This compartment is for portable generator "Storage Only" and is not to be used as an operating location for any portable generator. The generator must be removed from this compartment before operating. The aluminum wheel chair ramp will provide "No Lift" loading and unloading

Air Conditioning Air conditioning is an option on 29ft & 30 ft. units. You will get a 13,500 btu air Conditioner. This air conditioner is standard equipment on all other Surrey units.

Central Ducting Central Ducting option refers to the air conditioning distribution system built into the ceiling and roof of all  units. AllSurrey units are equipped with central ducting as standard equipment.

Air Conditioning Up-Grade to 15,000 btu This option will provide more air conditioning capacity. This is the industry’s largest unit. It is typically sold as an up grade on the larger models. In "Hot Climates" this is very popular. NOTE: Your unit will be 5" higher with the 15,000 btu air. Two level unit will no longer pass through a 12 ft. door!

Double Roof Insulation This doubles the insulation in the roof of the Safety House.

This is an aid for cooling in the summer and maximizing your air conditioning capacity

Color Camera System This camera system provides 3 color cameras, a color monitor, and a sequential switcher. If the outside viewing tv is also ordered the system will be connected to that tv so mom and dad can watch activities inside the Safety House

Black & white Camera System This camera system provides 3 b&w cameras, a b&w monitor, and a sequential switcher. If the outside viewing tv is also ordered the system will be connected to that tv so mom and dad can watch activities inside the Safety House

TV Camera Pre Wire This option will pre wire the unit for future camera installation

PA System Complete This option will provide a 60 watt pa system with two outside horns and an add’l outside microphone jac.

PA Pre Wire This option will pre wire the unit for future PA installation

Water Tank & Pump This option allows you to carry onboard fresh water and a pressure pump for providing flow. There is a city water hookup standard that will accept a garden hose for fresh water. This is a popular Command/Rehab option for long term situations.

Grey Water Tank Grey water is sink drain water. This tank will allow you to contain sink drain water and be emptied at a later date. The standard sink drain is a hose passing through the floor. A bucket can be used to collect this water. This is a popular Command/Rehab option for long term situations.

Restroom This option provides restroom facilities with a sink , a stool, and  Fresh and Waste Water holding tanks. (stool waste) A drain system is provided with shut off valves and a termination cap to insure a tight system while traveling. Any unit that is equipped with a restroom will have three ft less length  in the training areas  than the standard floor plan selected. The restroom option includes a fresh water system 

Restroom w/ Porta-Potti This restroom has a Porta-Potti only. No fresh water is provided A sink is provided but the unit must be hooked to a hose for water

Outside Shower This option offers a shower (cold water only) that can be used as an emergency wash down feature Typically this option is found on units that have command /rehab features including a fresh water system.

Hot Water Heater This option features LP gas fueled water heater with direct spark ignition (no pilot light) The heater has a fast recovery 6 gal capacity. This is the standard size water heater in the RV industry

Wheel Chair Ramp A telescoping aluminum wheel chair ramp is an option on 29 ft. & 30 ft. This ramp will pin in place to allow wheel chair access into the unit. It also is called into service for loading and unloading generators. All other models have a wheel chair ramp as standard equipment. All Surrey Fire safety House unit have a wheel chair ramp storage compartment standard. On all single level models the entrance door must be left open to accommodate the ramp. On two level units the rear deck is the attaching point, and the rear doors can be closed with the ramp pinned in place.

Outside TV Cabinet A outside tv cabinet is an option for 29 ft units that allow outside viewing of safety tapes and monitoring inside activities when used with inside cameras

This cabinet is standard on all other Surrey units

19"TV/VCR This refers to an optional tv vcr for outside viewing of safety tapes or on-board camera systems. This unit is secured for travel either to the base of the cabinet or to an optional slide out TV shelf.

Slide Out Shelf for TV/VCR This slide out TV shelf allows the 19"TV/VCR to be slid out of the compartment and rotated when poor light conditions causes glare on the screen.

This Slide out shelf is standard equipment on all HS (Home Style) only. The TV/VCR is secured to this shelf for travel. This Shelf will "NOT" accommodate a 25"TV

Roof Strobe This is a red or green (choice)mounted to the rear of the roof. It is for parade purposes or when set up at festivals etc. The green is used when the Safety House serves double duty as a Command/Rehab unit. The wall switch and wiring is standard on all Surrey units. It will provide a 15 amp DC circuit. Light bars require more power than available service will permit. It must be a strobe light only.

Small 3.2 cu. ft. Refrigerator This is an apartment size 110 volt refrigerator secured for travel. This will allow the instructors to have cool drinks available during long training days. This is also a welcome addition when using the unit for Command/Rehab. In some applications the refrigerator is built in below the kitchen counter. In some applications the refrigerator is secured in a dedicated area but not under a counter top.

Safety Stove This option provides a non-functional stove that has a special effects light under one burner to give the appearance that it is hot. There is also a pan with lid that will rotate to the unsafe position of the handle hanging over the front of the stove and will return to the safe position with the use of a wall switch.

Smoking Door System for Heated Door This option will enhance the effect of a fire being behind a heated door. It allows your instructors to demonstrate how to properly block smoke from entering their room while waiting for help to arrive. This is particularly good for students that live in apartment buildings where window escape is not possible. You may operate this option with the wireless remote control for the smoke machine. We install this option on over 90% of the units built in the last year.

Hot Door Knob This option will allow you to demonstrate a hot door knob on a heated door. This option is only available on our standard heated door

Thermometer for Heated Door This option allow you to monitor the temperature of the heated door. There are controls that allow you to adjust the temperature to a level that you physically feel to be a heat level you feel to be proper. We feel the contact with your hand is the best guide.

Heated Passage Door (A non Passage Heated Door is STANDARD

A heated passage door is available as a Heated bedroom entrance door. Our standard heated door is not a passage door and can be equipped with a Hot Knob option In that application a standard wooden door is in place as a bedroom entrance door. Both styles of doors are temperature adjustable.

Hearing Impaired Smoke Detector This is a smoke alarm for the deaf, or hearing impaired. It is equipped with a flashing strobe light and a very loud alert. In most applications this unit is installed in the bedroom,.

CO Detector This unit is a carbon monoxide detector that will alert occupants of high levels of carbon monoxide.

Solid Oak Entertainment Center The 36B models (36 ft. bleacher) Will have an entertainment center when equipped with Severe Weather Training. This is a popular option with entertainment constructed with solid oak.

Smoke Fluid (add’l) (1) case of 4 gal. of our water base smoke fluid is standard with every safety house. This option is for add’l fluid that you may want to purchase while ordering the unit.

Wireless Remote for Smoke Machine This option allows the smoke generator located in the control room to be activated by a remote signal. This works very well with the smoking door option and allows you to operate your program with no one in the control room in the event you are forced into a short handed crew situation.

Roof Mounted Camera Tower This option is a crank up camera tower on the roof of the safety house. It has the ability to be rotated 360o This is a Command/Rehab feature that allows you to see over vehicles that may be close to you. You can observe and record the situation around you when this unit is hooked to a tv/vcr. That is normally wired to the Command Work Station or the control room.

The camera has a all weather housing and is equipped with a lens heater eliminating a camera lens fogging. When cranked down the camera lays flat on the roof, and is lower than the air conditioning. It does not add to the over all height of the unit

13" Monitor for Camera Tower This is a 13"tv vcr set up to work with the roof camera tower,

Roof mounted Light Towers. By Qwick Light® These Light towers are able to be cranked up on the roof of the unit. They can be rotated 360o and are available in 2,4,6,or 8 light towers. More than one tower may be installed on a unit.

Command Center Work Station This option allows the bed in the Safety House to be converted to a Command Center Work Station. With the table (bed Base)in the elevated position you will find two110 volt duplex outlets, two 12 volt outlets (cigarette lighter) and two telephone jacks at table level. Add’l lights are also in place

O/H Cabinet for Command Center Work Station This option is an over head cabinet directly above the work station. This cabinet has multiple doors. There are 110 volt power outlets inside the cabinet for powering your rechargeables, radios, flash lights etc.

Electric Level Jacks This is a set of four electric level jacks. You may level your unit with finger tip control. The standard jacks provided are manual crank jacks. Each electric jack has a switch built onto each jack. They operate off of the battery. They should be used to stabilize to unit more than lifting the unit

Heavy Duty Rear Skid Wheels These heavy steel wheels are welded to the rear of the frame. They provide add’l protection for items such as steps and stabilizer jacks, Plus they eliminate bottoming out on drive ways causing frame to contact the road . It is possible to get hung up and not be able to move no matter how big of an engine you have. The weight will be transferred from the axles to the rear skid wheels and allow you to drive through the dragging situation . They are designed to pivot if need be.

Pull Station This is a common pull station with a strobe light and a horn. The students can activate the alarm and be educated it the proper procedure to use one. There is a cut off switch next to the alarm that will allow the instructor to shut the alarm off. The devise can then be reset before the next class comes in the unit.

Rubber Roof All STD models are built with a one piece aluminum roof as a standard feature. Rubber Roof option will install a one piece rubber roof material over 7/16 OSB boar. This provides a maintenance free roof and a roof strong enough you can walk on it.

All HS & LTD units are standard with rubber roof.

Recycled Plastic Lumber This option will replace standard pressure treated lumber found on the rear deck of two level STD units. Plastic lumber is maintenance free. It will not warp and crack like pressure treated lumber. Pressure treated lumber is typically found at home as deck material.

CSA Charge This Charge is only for units sold in CANADA. The fee is to cover special requirements required in Canada

Paper Initiation Fee This fee only applies to bids with bid bond or performance bond requirements. If you do not have bid bond or performance bond requirements within you bid this fee is not needed
